Sin embargo, si hablas ingl\u00e9s y no es tu lengua materna, estos tres consejos pueden ser a\u00fan m\u00e1s importantes. Si bien no son revolucionarios, muchos, sean hablantes nativos o no, los olvidan. As\u00ed que, a modo de repaso de algunas habilidades esenciales, veamos estos tres consejos clave para reuniones en ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/sankofa.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/mimi-thian-vdXMSiX-n6M-unsplash-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-844\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Habla para expresarte, no para impresionar.<\/strong><br>Impresionar a la gente en una reuni\u00f3n no se logra con un ingl\u00e9s impecable. Si bien puedes expresar tu punto de vista con claridad, lo que realmente importa es lo que dices. \u00bfCu\u00e1l es tu mensaje? \u00bfQu\u00e9 aportas a la discusi\u00f3n? Tener un sinf\u00edn de palabras para expresar acuerdo o desacuerdo no es lo que realmente importa en las reuniones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo que importa es tu experiencia o conocimiento del tema que se est\u00e1 tratando. S\u00ed, necesitas comunicarte, pero si logras transmitir tu idea a los dem\u00e1s, eso es lo que realmente cuenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. No te preocupes por los errores.<\/strong><br>En una publicaci\u00f3n anterior escribimos:\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sankofa.es\/es\/deja-de-disculparte-por-tu-ingles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Deja de disculparte por tu ingl\u00e9s<\/a>\u201dNo es necesario ser perfecto. Mucha gente que aprende ingl\u00e9s piensa que tiene que decir lo que va a decir a la perfecci\u00f3n. Esto no es cierto. De hecho, muchos hablantes nativos de ingl\u00e9s no se expresan correctamente. Cometen muchos errores. Adem\u00e1s, muchos usan estructuras simples, se repiten a menudo, hacen pausas largas y emiten sonidos como &quot;eh...&quot;, &quot;um...&quot; y &quot;hmmm...&quot; mientras buscan las palabras adecuadas. As\u00ed que, todos cometemos errores. Conc\u00e9ntrate en el mensaje, en lo que quieres expresar y haz tu mejor esfuerzo. Pero no te castigues por los errores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El hecho de hablar ingl\u00e9s a nivel internacional ya te coloca en una posici\u00f3n ventajosa frente a muchos hablantes nativos que tienen dificultades para comprender otros idiomas. Ya te est\u00e1s esforzando por ser un l\u00edder, un modelo a seguir y un comunicador eficaz.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Ser vulnerable no es una debilidad.<\/strong><br>Pedirle a alguien que repita lo que ha dicho, quedarse en blanco cuando necesitas hablar, pedir un momento para ordenar tus ideas o para que te aclaren algo. Esto es mostrarse vulnerable, pero no d\u00e9bil. No tener la palabra exacta no disminuye tu conocimiento ni tu experiencia. De hecho, hablar ingl\u00e9s con fluidez a nivel internacional ya te coloca por delante de muchos hablantes nativos que tienen dificultades para comprender otros idiomas. Ya te est\u00e1s esforzando como l\u00edder, modelo a seguir y comunicador. Pedir la palabra adecuada no es debilidad, sino fortaleza, ya que demuestra que puedes ser vulnerable, pero no te impide ser una figura de autoridad ni un participante esencial en la reuni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aqu\u00ed ten\u00e9is nuestros tres mejores consejos para las reuniones. Pedir ayuda es, en definitiva, pedir aprender.
